When/Where is the Conference?

NOVEMBER 2, 2019

2019 TECHNIQUES FOR SUCCESS Conference Agenda

2019 Abstracts of Breakout Sessions

This was probably one of the best trainings I’ve had in 11 years of teaching!

Who should attend?

TECHNIQUES FOR SUCCESS covers education strategies for students who have Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities of all ages, attending preschool to high school. There is one conference for educators and parents with topics offered that are relevant to both groups.

The conference is appropriate for educators in all roles including:

  • General education teachers

  • Special education teachers

  • Case managers

  • Paraprofessionals

  • Administrators

  • Counselors

  • Therapists

  • IEP team coordinators

Parents who participate on their child’s IEP team and parents who homeschool also are encouraged to attend.

Inspirational – refuels my passion for working with families of students with special needs.

Is it worth my time?

Yes!  Past participants have indicated that TECHNIQUES FOR SUCCESS inspires them and gives them valuable tools to immediately use in their classrooms.  If you have attended TECHNIQUES FOR SUCCESS in the past, it is definitely worth coming back because the topics change each year.

To get a sense of what TECHNIQUES FOR SUCCESS is about, watch our highlights reel.  And click here to see comments from past participants.

Many participants have noted the value of attending TECHNIQUES FOR SUCCESS with colleagues from their schools, so they can discuss new ideas and how they may work within their school setting.

Great information – my second time and learning more each time I attend.
