Corie has 19 years of clinical experience as a pediatric speech-language Pathologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science with Highest Honors in Communication Disorders from Penn State University and her Masters of Science with Highest Distinction from Loyola University in Maryland.
After graduate school, she went to work for Montgomery County Public Schools, split among a traditional school setting, preschool, and the infants and toddlers program. She started her private practice in the fall of 2001. In 2010 she began a part time position, serving as a Clinical Supervisor at Loyola University in Maryland, helping to train the next generation of SLPs.
Corie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a Maryland license from the Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and is a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is one of a few SLPs nationwide to become CASANA Recognized for Advanced Training and Clinical Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
